This Summer Do More, Achieve More!

Qualified high school and undergraduate students can have the opportunity to take JHU pre-college programs and undergraduate level courses during the summer. In addition, to earning college credit, students experience life at Hopkins while living on campus and engaging in academic and social activities with their peers.

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) offers four exciting summer options for qualified high school and undergraduate students:

Discover Hopkins Accelerate your entry into college life! Our signature hands-on program highlights what makes Johns Hopkins great with fast-paced credit courses focused on medicine, psychology, and the sciences.

MiniTerm Find your path to excellence! Many of these two-week credit classes feature interdisciplinary approaches to medicine, sciences, technology, and the humanities.

Summer Term Dive into the Hopkins experience!  Over 100 freshman- and sophomore-level credit classes in the sciences, technology, and the humanities provide challenging new vistas into knowledge.

JHU EducationUSA Academy Gain the skills necessary to success in U.S, higher education! The Johns Hopkins EducationUSA Academy is a world-class immersion program for pre-college international students that offers essential academic proficiencies, cultural insights, and expert guidance on the college admissions process.

Summer Immersion Classes for one week, knowledge for a lifetime.

Intersession offers diverse courses that are topical, engaging, and not typically offered during the academic year. Students take one or two courses that are graded pass/fail.

The JHU EducationUSA Academy provides international high school students a world-class academic and cultural immersion experience. The Hopkins EducationUSA Academy offers 1 credit for the (2-week option) and 2 credits for the (4-week option).
