The Johns Hopkins Summer Programs offers qualified students the opportunity to take freshman -and sophomore-level credit classes in arts and sciences, and engineering. We offer a variety of options: 5-week courses, and Online.

Commuter students may register part-time (one class) or take the full two-course load. With over 100 courses being offered this summer, your schedule is about choice. Select courses in your desired college major or diversify your interests by selecting a new language or humanities class. Regardless of your choice of courses, Hopkins’ Summer Term Program connects you with great minds. You have the opportunity to engage in discussions and study with academically talented students and Hopkins’ own distinguished faculty.

  • Have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Transcript with Fall 2019 grades
  • TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores (International applicants only)**
